Roberts’s POV
I was racing to get to the hospital. I heard a rumor my mate was here, so I left my lunch uneaten to go to her. I knew she was supposed to come back to Black Adder today. I would fall to my knees and beg her to give me another chance. I wasted my first opportunity, but I wouldn’t waste this one. I hoped that her love for me would grant me another opportunity.
I was heading to the hospital and stayed in my human form despite Echo telling me to run there in wolf form. I knew I would need to talk once I got there.
