I was glad that my Mom and Robert were finally back together. I was so excited about my Mom being pregnant with twins that I had forgotten about the blood test I took until Dr. Guin came back into the room and headed straight for Alexei and me. I was suddenly nervous as I gripped Alexei’s arm. I wanted to give him a child, but I was anxious that I wasn’t pregnant. I didn’t want him to be disappointed.
