Five days later
I have stayed by Saoirse’s bedside this entire time. I had her upgraded to a room with a shower because I would not leave her side. Alexei went home yesterday, the day after Cara woke up. He was lucky; his mate had woken up, but I was still afraid. The only thing that had been racing through my mind were her last words to me. She loved me and wanted me to be happy.
