While Harden left Damien alone with his mother’s body, he went to answer a phone call.
It turned out to be Arthur on the other end.
Arthur began without any preempt. “I saw what happened. I want Caitlyn’s body.”
Harden cut in. “We’re her family now and she’s at home, where she should be. Shouldn’t the funeral arrangements be arranged by us?”
Arthur scoffed. “You call that cold apartment a home. No wonder she killed herself. Knowing you, you probably didn’t even treat her right. Oh, and when you hand over my dead sister’s body, send Damien too. He’ll want to come home as well.”
“Over my dead body will Damien go back to live with you again. I’ll hand over the body but not the boy.”
