Mandy had been in her pajamas for days now, doing nothing but crying or sitting in front of the TV in an absolute daze as tears streamed down her face one by one without her even noticing it.
It looked like she still very much had not gotten over Gizmo’s untimely death.
By the third day, Damien had enough of Mandy’s tears, so he said to her, “Get dressed. I’m taking you out.”
“But where?” Kendra asked, looking up from TV in shock. Her hair was in a ponytail and it looked unwashed. Apparently, it was too much of an ordeal for Mandy to even bathe. This was clearly unlike her, who took care of her appearance and always made sure she looked put-together in front of others. The Mandy now was far from the Mandy he had always known.
