Damien looked from Mandy to Allison, not knowing what to do.
He really hoped that the earpiece was working at the moment.
“I love pasta,” Damien said.
“What?” said Noel, clearly confused.
As his men were swooping in, Damien shifted and leaped at Noel. The motion caused Noel to walk backward into the lever, and Mandy and Allison immediately started their descent into the vat of boiling water.
Damien was indecisive at first, not knowing who to rescue, but he eventually settled on Mandy. He ran over to her side and swung the chain so that now instead of dangling over hot waters, it was now hanging over the side of the railing of the walkway. Damien shifted back and helped Mandy out of her bindings.
He looked over and saw that Brent was doing the same.
