The days started blending together in that glass prison high above the city. I woke up every morning to the same soft light filtering through the huge windows, the same quiet hum of the penthouse around me. No alarm clock needed—my body just knew now. I’d roll out of the massive bed, splash cold water on my face, and head straight to the small gym Delucas had in the east wing.
