"Because they already approved."
I knew my smile was smug. I knew Flora was going to be confused. And I know she's going to freak the f***k out when I tell her exactly how I'd already gotten that approval.
"Excuse me?" Flora finally muttered.
"They already approved and are very excited to meet you," I told her truthfully.
Flora shook her head, making me drop my hand. She took a step back, and I reluctantly let her. Then she looked down as thoughts swirled through that pretty little head of hers.
"How could you have done that already? Did you go to them to help find me?" She asked.
"Sort of," I mumbled as I rubbed the back of my neck.
"Sort of?" Flora repeated as she crossed her arms.
