The Molloy family spent a couple of hours in that hospital room, before all but one of them headed home. The doctors decided it was probably for the best if Elliott stayed in for a night or two, just so the infection could work its way out of his system, and just so they could keep an eye on him. As Terry reversed out of the parking space in the hospital car park, he turned to his sister.
"You coming home, or going back to your friend's place?"
"Home, I suppose." Katy replied.
"You don't have to, sweetheart," Maggie told her. "Why spoil your weekend?"
"It seems a bit late now."
"Nonsense. The night is still young. You go back to Liberty's, and enjoy yourself. After all, she and her family will want to know how your father is."
