The next few days were very quiet, and now it's time for us to leave on our weekend away. We all need this break. We still haven't found Vega, but at least Enrico is off the street and can't hurt Amelia. He is being held at a mental health facility for the time being that deals with underage kids. He is not 18 yet, so they will assess him there and get him the help he needs. Everything is being handled very quietly so we can keep Amelia's identity out of it.
There were pictures of another girl too, but it seemed like she was the object of his affection before Amelia. We checked into her, and she moved out of state with her parents over a year ago. As expected, dad was livid. He wanted to make the boy disappear, and we all felt the same, but he deserved a chance to get help first.
