One month later…
We have been back home for a week now, and it's amazing to be back in our own space. My wedding is in exactly three days and I can barely contain my excitement. Cookie is obviously my maid of honor, and she is super hyped about my bachelorette party. We can freely move around now, because there is no immediate threat.
All our enemies have been dealt with and it’s been so peaceful. I can take Zia on walks and picnics at the park, and she is loving it. She can walk further distances now, without falling down. She is really growing perfectly. There is no proof left behind of the struggles she had because she was born prematurely. This little girl is healthy and happy and so mischievous. But we love her and all her antics.
