I am so proud of Maya for the way she handled everything. It was information overload, and she took it all in. She didn't whine, or call us liars. She opened herself up to hear the truth and I respect her more for that. And, the most important part is that she didn't push me away. My dad was great, as usual, and I like the way he handled her. I really am lucky to have him and mom in my life.
I am worried that Maya might run off again, but I guess I will always have that fear. I don't ever want to lose her. I have never felt this way about anyone before, and I know she feels the same. I find myself wondering how things would have turned out if she had been abducted with me. Would we still have gotten to this point? But we can't go back, so I am just happy that she is here with me no
