It’s been a full day since Rebel left, and he still hasn't come back. I don’t want to bother him because I know he is busy. And what if I call while he is hiding out or something? I swear, worrying about him gives me anxiety.
I keep reassuring myself that he can look after himself. But the fact remains that we are in a safe house for a reason. He should be here and safe. Not out doing God knows what. We are all doing okay, but Craig kept asking for Carly, so Isa sat with him and explained that his mommy was sick, and she couldn’t see him right now. We all assured him that we loved him, and we are all here for him. It’s hard to explain this to a toddler.
