“So who is the real threat? The vampires? The hunters? Or Bruno?” Mila asks worriedly, her brow furrowed.
“All of them,” Laurence says darkly, his eyes narrowing as he glances around the room. I nodd in agreement, the weight of the situation pressing down on me.
“My brother is smart; he fooled me before, he made me completely believe they knew that peace for all was more important. But that’s what they do, they do what’s best for them and they always will. If you thought my father was bad, my brother is worse. Plus we now know he’s helping Bruno divide the North and South,” Sebastian says gravely, a shadow of determination crossing his features.
“But why?” Mila questions, her voice trembling slightly.
“Because he’ll be getting something out of it, I would imagine,” Sebastian
