The two guards were on the ground, out cold, but I could tell they were breathing. I turned my head to the side, and my stomach was in knots when I saw Nigel standing a few meters from me with a gun in his hand. I crossed my hands against my chest and glared at him,
" What are you doing here? Does Pa know?" I questioned my tone hard. He approached me, looking as confident as ever. He smiled at me and gripped my cheek. I pushed him away, and he laughed.
" Your father doesn't know. I came here on my own will," he said. I glanced around at the rogues he came with. I didn't know them. I instinctively took a step back, feeling apprehensive.
" T- then why are you here?" I tried to keep my voice firm. He was acting wild. Did he rebel from my father?
" I'm here to get you, Princess.
