Harper’s POV
“NO!!!”
Oh God. I couldn’t believe this was happening. We were so damn close to finishing the barrier—Calix would have never even known. What the hell happened?!
Everyone around me turned their heads in my direction. There was no doubt that I sounded like a lunatic. What was truly important was that the team was able to hear me.
“He’s trying to breach the barrier!” I shouted. “Everyone! Get back inside!”
I faintly heard the others around me trying to call out to me, but it was no use. I couldn’t make out anything they were saying.
