Grayson I'd been lazily scrolling on my phone, trying and failing to tamp down the nerves that came with me thinking Elaine might bail on our date — because of me — when my notifications suddenly exploded on my phone. All from my socials. I'd have ignored them if it weren't for whose accounts they originated from. Elaine's. She never updated her socials. The only posts she'd ever made had been those I'd called disasters. But now... I swallowed hard when she swayed her hips in a video, posted a few minutes ago of her dancing while she got ready.
