Aria Snow pov : Every muscle in my body was screaming. I woke up the next morning feeling like I had been trampled by a herd of wild horses. My shoulders ached, my core was sore, and there was a dark, purple bruise forming on my left hip where I had hit the mat during my training session with Killian. But as I sat up in the massive, luxurious bed of the Rose Room, I didn't feel broken. For the first time in years, the pain didn't feel like a punishment. It felt like progress. "We are getting stronger", Aurora purred in my mind, stretching lazily. "Today, we learn how to break bones." I smiled, swinging my legs over the edge of the bed. I was just about to head to the bathroom to take a hot shower when a sharp, polite knock echoed through the room. "Aria, dear? Are you awake?"
