Lorenzo smiles as he approaches me. He extends his hand and runs his fingers through my fur.
"You're lovely, of course you are," he says before leaning in to kiss me. I step back, and just then, a guard rushes towards us, putting clothes behind a tree. I nod my thanks and go behind the tree to shift. I put on the shorts and shirt that were left for me.
"What are you doing here, Lorenzo?"
"I came to see you, beautiful."
I brush past him and into the garden. "I don't want to see you."
He grabs my arm, and I turn to slap him hard across the cheek. "You betrayed me. You betrayed your pack and the other packs. What makes you think I want to see you?!" I shout.
