I can't help the stupid smile on my face. Kian called me, and he talked. I didn't even say a word. I was smiling, laughing, and crying all at once.
"You're smiling," Serena says as we sit in the garden, eating chips and an avocado. She leans over and smiles at me. "Is it because you spoke to your mate?" she asks, glancing around.
