Gabriel's POV
I was finishing up my training for the day at the training field and was about to leave when a discussion that reached my ears stopped me in my tracks.
Someone said, "I heard that Aurora refused to become Luna."
Another said, "Don't be ridiculous. How could she... Are you serious?"
That man answered, "Of course. I heard it with my own ears."
I gripped that man's collar tightly and unconsciously increased my strength. "Didn't you lie?"
The man winced and then vowed, saying, "Beta, I swear by the Moon Goddess. It's absolutely true."
His expression was so firm that he didn't seem to be lying to me.
My heart was filled with joy instantly, and even the fatigue of training all day dissipated. I let him go and strode towards the parking lot without hesitation.
