Aurora's POV
In the hospital room, everyone looked at Brian and Silvia in shock.
Silvia's pitiful act was frozen on her face. She managed to force a faint smile and, after a long pause, spoke up. "Alpha Brian, I don't understand what you're implying."
Brian's expression was cold and grim. "Stop playing games in front of me, Silvia. It'll only make me hate you more."
I was taken aback by how harsh Brian's words were toward Silvia. He must have noticed the look I gave him because he glanced at me sideways and murmured, "Why are you staring at me? Do you think I'll believe her and doubt you? Who would be that stupid?"
Brian's words seemed to be aimed at Gabriel.
