I couldn't wrap my head around why Aurora turned me down. She wouldn't even let me explain myself.
"She must have misunderstood," Ken insisted in my mind. "She probably thinks we want her as Luna just because she has the white wolf."
I shook my head. "But she said she wouldn't change her mind. That means she never intended to agree to be our Luna."
"She must have misinterpreted your conversation with Leonardo."
Ken had a point, but my hunch told me there was more to it.
