"No, Selena, you can't" Claire gasped and tried to pull her hands away from mine, but I held on tight. "That's crazy, Tyson hates Theo and if you come with me then he'll kill you just to make Theo suffer"
"He won't kill me right away, Claire," I whispered trying to make her see where I'm coming from. The panic in my chest was completely gone, replaced by realization.
"Tyson's a monster, but he's also a greedy man who wants power, my powers as a lycan mean a lot more to him. I am the ultimate prize. As long as I am breathing, I'm his best playing card and he won't kill me."
