Selena’s POV
Yesterday was easily the scariest day of my life, and even though today was a morning of new beginnings with Noah’s life finally out of danger.
The Royal Seer’s words just dampered the mood.
I walked slowly into the room and stopped near the doorway. My mom was sitting on a chair by the fireplace.
She looked so small, so fragile, and broken. She's been going through a lot.
"Mom" I whispered as I walked over and knelt down next to her chair. I placed my hands over hers and shr lifted her pale face, and when she looked into my eyes tears started running down her cheeks.
