Selena’s POV
The walk to Gabriella’s bedroom felt longer than necessary.
Melissa walked between Claire and me, her hands were shaking so much that she had to wrap her arms tight around her stomach. We didn't talk.
Gabriella stood in the crack of the door. Her face was pale and her green eyes were bloodshot from crying.
The moment she saw the three of us standing there, her face went cold.
"What do you want?" She whispered. Her voice was flat, dry, and raspy. She didn't look at Melissa at all and she kept her eyes on me. "I don't want to talk to you. Go away and leave me alone."
"Gabriella, wait. Please" Melissa cried out and pressed her palms against the wood to stop it from closing. "Please don't close. We just want to talk to you for a few minutes."
"I don't care what you want,"
