My legs moved entirely on their own as I ran down the hallway, but I didn't slow down. I felt like I was running for my life.
All I could smell and feel was him. My hands were shaking so badly that I could barely hold onto my sketchbook. I dropped my pen, but I didn't stop to pick it up. I just needed to get behind a locked door and breathe.

Every time I closed my eyes as I ran, I saw his face. I saw the pure, devastating heartbreak in his dark eyes when I told him I didn't know him. I saw the tears. He looked at me like I was his entire world, and it was like I told him that his world didn't exist anymore.
But the most terrifying part was not his sadness. The most terrifying part was that he had Leo’s eyes.
