Selena’s POV
I felt like I was in an alternate universe.
My father kept passing me food and my mother sat right beside me and Noah. She couldn't stop looking at me. Every few minutes, she would reach out and gently brush a piece of hair behind my ear.
"You need to eat more, my sweet girl," She smiled, placing another warm bread on my already full plate. "You're too thin. We need to get your strength back up."
"I am so full" I laughed softly, though I took another bite just to make her happy.
I looked over at Noah who gave me a smile but because we're twins and most importantly best friends, I could see the sadness in his eyes.
" I wish we could talk and spend time together already I know that you guys are tired so let me show you your room." Mom said and I took her hand. "Okay."
