Claire’s POV
The morning felt stale because Noah wasn't by my side but I was still feeling happy because of our fun night .
For the first time in a very long time, I felt like a normal woman.
My phone started to ring and I already knew who it was because I hardly ever get any phone calls.
I smiled, picking it up. "Lexus? I'm so glad you're calling. Noah and I had the best—"
"He's not here right now, little wolf," a deep, cold voice interrupted.
My smile instantly froze on because that voice does not belong to my brother instead it was a voice full of poison and evilness that it made my hair stand even through the phone. A sudden, terrifying chill ran down my spine.
"Who is this?" I whispered, my hands starting to shake violently. "Where's my brother? Why do you have his phone?"
