The sun finally set and the heavy dread of tomorrow hung in the air like a suffocating fog, but there was something else, too smething hot and electric.
There was a thick tension between Theo and me that had been simmering since our training session. Every time our eyes met across the small room, the air grew incredibly hot, charged with an unspoken hunger.
