I looked at him in confusion.

Who is Selena?
"No," Lexus shook his head violently. "No, that’s impossible. You... you died. "
The words hung in the air like a thick fog, and I felt the blood drain from my face.
What is he talking about?
This man, this wealthy, powerful client was looking at me like I was a ghost. He wasn't just surprised. He was devastated.
"I..." I started to speak, but my voice failed me.
“Where have you been, Selena? I can't believe it.” Lexus reached out to take my hand, but Noah stepped in front of me.
"Noah," I whispered, tugging on the back of his coat. "What is he talking about? Who is Selena?"
"No one," Noah said firmly, without turning around. "He's confused, and he's mistaken you for someone else. Don't listen to him,
