ALLISON’S POV My eyes flutter open slowly and I yawn, throwing my leg over Justin’s. Sunlight is already sneaking through the half-closed blinds, painting thin gold stripes across the sheets and over his bare shoulder. He’s still deeply asleep, face turned toward me, with his lips slightly parted, and dark lashes resting on his cheeks. I shift carefully onto my side so I can watch him better without waking him up. His hair is a beautiful mess: longer on top now, soft black strands falling across his forehead and curling at his nape. I reach out and let just the tips of my fingers glide through it, barely touching, and tracing the way it wants to coil around my knuckles.
