BRAYDON’S POV “On Count One,” Judge Harmon announces, “kidnapping and unlawful detention of the complainant. The court finds the defendant guilty.” Katy’s grip on my hand tightens. Before we arrived at court, I always assumed I wouldn’t be nervous, and no matter the outcome, I’m alive and I’ve got everything I wanted.
