“My brunette?” With a hiss, she pushes herself up from the bed and yanks off the jacket. She closes the distance and shoves it at me. “Thanks.” She starts to walk away, but I grab her hand, pulling her back. Her eyes drop to where my fingers curl around her wrist, then flick back up to mine. “Stay.” I manage to say. “Sean will be looking for me,” she replies, already shifting toward the door. “Is that really why you’re leaving?” I ask, stepping a little closer.
