He exhales slowly, rubbing the back of his neck. His eyes flick between me and the car, clearly rattled but not angry. “Yeah… yeah. See you inside,” he says quietly, opening the door and giving me a careful look before stepping out. As he walks away, I slam my hand on the steering wheel, letting every ounce of frustration and fury out. Damn Justin. Damn him for getting into my head.
