“Go to hell.” He shoves at my chest. I don’t move. “Last chance.” “Get off me, man.” He struggles, but I’m already dragging him toward my car. The sun is dipping low, the parking lot is lonely and there’s no one around to intervene. I hit him once and he folds instantly, clutching his stomach. “Where is Sean?” I keep my grip on his shirt, holding him upright. “I don’t—” He coughs. “I don’t know where he is.” I study his face, then drive my fist into his stomach again, harder this time.
