As I sip the water slowly, I slide out of bed wearing his shirt and start searching for my phone. It’s not dead, which already feels like a small miracle until I catch my reflection on the black screen and nearly scream. I swipe open the camera app and my jaw actually drops. Oh my God. Did I look like this when Justin was staring at me? Was my hair seriously giving abandoned bird’s nest? And my face, puffy? A horrified groan slips out of me and I gulp the rest of the water, plopping the cup onto his nightstand.
