THREE DAYS LATER
When you take down one corrupt person, you’re surprised at how many people he’s been holding onto. The past three days have been wild. Several arrests have been made and it turns out Mr. Cooper had a lot of supporters—about nine board members who knew about his attempt to kill Braydon and still met with him anyway.
Each of them had been promised a billion dollars. A billion. I guess that kind of money can make anyone forget their humanity, even when it’s the son of the woman who lifted you to the top. I’m happy they all got caught and this feels like the start of some good things for Braydon.
