Richardson settled more comfortably in his chair, his expression shifting into something more formal. More professional. This was the voice he used in high-stakes negotiations, when presenting complex cases to difficult clients.
"Let me start with the basics," he said. "Werewolves have existed for as long as humans have recorded history. Longer, probably. We're not supernatural in the mystical sense—we're a separate species. With abilities humans don't possess."
