That wolf is charging me full force! He's attacking me!
My body reacted on pure instinct. Claws extended. Muscles coiled. I braced for impact.
The black-gray-white wolf crashed into me like a freight train.
The force sent me tumbling backward, paws scrambling for purchase on the forest floor. I hit the ground hard, air knocked from my lungs, the wolf's weight pressing down on me.
His amber eyes bore into mine—not with killing intent, but with intense focus.
