with Logan's same dark features but an artistic flair that screams gallery owner. His expression is carefully neutral, but I catch the flash of recognition and something darker in his eyes when he sees Charles.
"What a coincidence," Logan says smoothly. "Shopping for the wedding?"
Charles's posture immediately changes, becoming more aggressive, more territorial. "And you are?"
"Logan Albert," Logan extends his hand with professional courtesy. "Lynn's neighbor."
I watch realization dawn in Logan's eyes as he takes in Charles's appearance, his possessive stance, the expensive tuxedos draped over nearby chairs. This is the man who's been betraying me, planning to kill me, stealing from me.
