I sat on the edge of my bed staring at the phone in my hand. Luca's call had ended two minutes ago, but I was still processing what he said.
A girl. Watching them at the beach. Hidden in the trees.
My phone vibrated. The picture came through. I opened it and zoomed in.
There. Between two trees in the background. A shape. Small frame. Long hair. Female.
I stood up and walked to the window in my bedroom. The sun was setting. I studied the image closer. The sun made it hard to see details, but Luca and Caleb were right. Someone had been there. Someone had followed them.
