AIDEN POV Drip. Drip. Drip. Each drop was driving me insane. It kept falling somewhere to my left, slow and annoying, never close enough for me to locate exactly, never far enough for me to not hear it. Every time it hit the stone, the sound crawled straight behind my eyes and made the headache split wider. I kept them closed. There was no other way to shut my brain enough to let the throbbing pain in my head subside. I'd always had headaches. Bad ones.
