He didn’t answer.

I looked around too, mostly because if he was going to be paranoid I wanted to know what flavor of paranoid we were having.

I turned back to Aiden.
“No cameras.” he mumbled, the crease easing just a bit.
“That’s good.”
“No.”
I groaned. “Of course it isn’t.”
“No cameras in the room,” he said, voice low. “No alarm. No one rushing in after you ripped half the wall down.”
“That sounds very good to me.”
“That sounds wrong.”
“Maybe they’re underestimating us.”
“They are way too smart and organized for doing that..”
