EDWARD’S POV I’m so used to waking up from nightmares that anytime I actually get decent sleep, my first thought is usually: what the f**k went wrong? Which is probably unhealthy, but at this point it’s just part of my routine. Tonight is no different. I wake up sweaty, irritated and already knowing sleep isn’t coming back, so after lying in bed for a few minutes staring at my ceiling, I finally drag myself out of bed and head for the kitchen to get water. Apparently everybody passed out in the living room after the game. And by everybody, thankfully, I do not mean Layla and Wendy. A quiet huff leaves me before I turn toward the kitchen.
