LAYLA’S POV “I heard Oakie last night,” Edward says ten minutes after breakfast, breaking a silence that’s been stretching between us ever since. There’s a lot to talk about but I assume that, just like me, he’s still trying to figure out how any of this makes sense. “I heard Zyrax too,” I admit. “He was so loud. I could feel everything he was feeling and he kept trying to help with the pain.” Aside from the fact that Zyrax is apparently far more possessive than Edward ever lets on, I felt all of him last night.
