LAYLA’S POV The breath that leaves Edward is slow and heavy. Then a smile crosses his face, completely soft in a way that makes my chest feel like it’s been wrung out and refilled with warmth. “For f**k's sake.” His hand drags through his hair. “You've got me acting like a teenager.” A laugh slips out. His gaze drops back to mine and the smile still hasn’t disappeared. “Okay.” He exhales. “We like each other.
