Nicole's POV
For the entire three weeks I was away, Gio never bothered to check on me after what he did because of Molly.
Mom took charge of the situation and sent his bodyguards to bring Molly the moment Gio sent the pictures to him.
When I woke up after the tongue surgery, Mom was by my bedside, but I couldn't speak due to the anesthesia, which made my tongue feel heavy.
I wondered how my tongue had returned. Was it artificial or pieced back together? I gestured for Mom to give me a pen and paper, which she did.
"My child, I can't believe he did this to you. Molly, or whatever her name is, must pay." Her expression at the mention of Molly turned cold but I smiled at her words and wrote on the paper, "Did you send someone to take care of her?"
