After the incident involving Wesley, my sister Kiara, and me, I initially found it hard to trust Gianni. However, recalling the first time we had s*x, I realized his words were genuine.
If Gianni had been involved with Octavia, she would have been responsible for that aspect of his life, but clearly, she wasn't.
