  Molly's POV   I felt embarrassed to be caught eavesdropping, but I doubted that Roger would apologize to me. From the look of things, his hostility was not just towards me, so I figured I wasn't wrong.   The boy had a misanthropic disorder, so I would have to work a little harder at making him understand things from my perspective.   "I won't apologize, but I won't do it again," he said, glaring at me, but his father did not seem to be on par with his decision.    "Then you don't get your spiders back."   I saw Roger's eyes turn red and realized that love could not be forced. "You can give him back his spiders.
